Post a new topicby livingwith on Mon Jun 01, 2009 1:06 pm

And now, after 5 months of DAILY physical therapy the fingers on my hand have contracted like claws; I can no longer extend my fingers; the hand, wrist and f...Read the full article

Hi there livingwith! I have just read your entry and am sorry this has happened to you. I have had exactly the same thing having fractured my wrist last January. I have had some help from PT but now my hand is becoming ever stiffer. I agree that this condition has a life of it's own and also I think that little is known about it in the country where I live. There are specialists but not maany. I hope you get some help and comfort soon and find plenty of support from friends and family and on here. I was really shocked by all this as i had never heard of RSD before!!! Best wishes, Fontaine.

My fiance is in the same boat. She got RSD in Jun 07. Her hand is in a claw shape and has been since about July of 2007. She went through the Ketamine coma which didn't help, and is currently just living with the constant pain. She has no movement in her arm, wrist or hand.
