I have had rsd since 1996. My legs is swollen all the time. It only hurts when it is cold or raining. I take elavil for the pain. It helps. At first i was sent to a doctor because they thought i had a blood clot. After 3 doctors i was sent to an orthopedic doctor who came up with this diagnosis. He sent me to osner’s in new orleans where they confirmed it. I didn’t have any sprains, strains, breaks, or anything wrong with my leg. I guess you can say that i am living with it.
