Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD)

I was diagnosed with RSD after a foot surgery five years ago. I am a military spouse and have moved around quite a bit which means I have changed pain management doctors a few times. Do you think that anyone truly understands the severity of RSD when you tell them that it feels like your foot is on fire, that at random times, it feels as if someone’s giving you a shot or trying to crush your bones with a pencil?
