I was injured in a horse and carriage accident; breaking my left hand. Within five weeks, I experienced swelling and burning pain in my forearm and hand. Three weeks later, I was diagnosed with RSD Since I was in the health profession, I understood this was not a positive diagnosis or one that I wanted to live with.
