Concerned and confused - meg

Post a new topicby meglaser on Sun Sep 06, 2009 12:44 am

Hell o everyone!

It has been a bad week again! I have a question ( two actually ) the first is I am very concerned regarding a blister I have on my newest RSD arm! It just will not heal!! It is getting infectet (I think) although I cannot see it.

This week I have been going through the sinkraphy - fainting or close to it! the cardiost poinst me to the neuro as he says I am going through seizures and the neuro = both of them say it is my heart!

(sorry about my spelling - I've been up close to 24 hours - I know I am not alone on this one!)

Hello,

Hope all is as well as can be. I studied a bit about the relationship between breathing, and
heartrate. Had to. I would find myself breathing very shallowly, which scared my heart.
I felt like fainting. If I did, I would like to think it would level off. I am still here, so it may be
a good bet that system override isn't required. If I splash my face with cold water, heart slows a
bit. Then I spend forty minutes breathing in for 4 seconds, exhaling the same. Gets back into
pattern. Good technique I learned at the pain clinic-who denied my condition. They knew it
deep down, or they would not have drilled it death.
Too many questions about the blister. May I? How did it get there? Tried any salves or creams?
I suspect it has been there for a while. Have YOU lanced it? I wouldn't let a doc do it, if needed.
If it gets worse, I think your system would know the difference between you and a doc.
Can't reccommend anything from a pharmacy, but have heard honey as an ointment, has many
anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-microbial properties. Might sting bad, too. Worse case, I
have had success with a tobacco poultice. I wet it with saliva. More properties there. And, I
can't think of any side effects, other than honey might attract a bear. Hee, hee.
Good luck.

Plumber Bob:

I did go bacl a few and I saw where others also other suffering from this and there is a website that someone gave me which is some excellent information of which I plan on printing, highlighting, and sharing with my old set of doctors whom always forget about the side affects of this disease. As far asthe blisters, I have RSD in the limb and my body is slowly healing the infect area which had a whole in it a month ago. I was doing homework while waiting for my son to get home from work. (He was working three consect days of gravyard and he is a new driver (both sons are actuly) and I burned it on the rectangular plug . I also burned my hip the same night. I bad! Thanks for the info my battery is running out!

Hi, just chiming in,

I have experienced the blisters, but here is the irony.
My injured foot is the "right foot", all of the problems started by the incision which is just below my ankle bone, but as shifting started, the most affected area became the region just below my big toe and where the bunion used to sit, which had changed do to surgery on my calcaneus.
One morning I woke up and felt burning (different than the usual RSD burning) on the "left foot" and as I pulled the bed sheets away, I saw a line, about two inches long, full of the tiniest little blisters I had ever seen and they were precisely in the same area on the left foot as I was having problems on the right foot.
Eventually they went away, but they left their mark, my skin is very dry in that area and the line is still present, without the blisters, however, when I take my bath, the line becomes tomato red.
In my opinion, this was do to overheating and another viral attack, which of course go hand in hand.
I believe it is well known which virus causes such blisters.

I wish both of you a nice day
