Knowledge is Power

Post a new topicby Truth Seeker on Wed Jul 01, 2009 1:17 am

We all know that RSD is complex and controversial, we all have questions, most of which someone is not able or willing to answer for us, but that simply is not good enough for me nor should it be good enough for anyone else.
I have read many posts in this forum and often I cannot help but shake my head by what I am reading.
It simply is not good enough to listen and follow the advice of uninformed doctors, who can do further harm, which is the last thing any RSD patient needs.
My research began in 1998 and since than I have gained more knowledge than I care to remember, about all kinds of medical topics, however, RSD websites left me wondering if anyone cared about us.
In my opinion, it is not good enough to talk about RSD symptoms and sensations, because the same apply to many other diseases as well, usually where the cause is also unknown.
After thirteen years with RSD, I clearly had enough of this even-so it is better than it was, but I still deal with more than I should.
My heart and thoughts go out to all RSD patients all over the world and if I can provide you with some pertinent information to give you at least some piece of mind, than that is a good thing.
Tonight I decided to check where Russia stands as it relates to RSD research and as many times before, I stumbled across a website I had not counted on, this website provided me with more RSD information, which I could relate to, than any other and hopefully it will do the same for you in order for you to make more informed decisions.
The website was called:
Dr. HOOSH's CV

Please let me know if it was beneficial to you, good luck.
