Re: Petition for RSD Awareness DayGood morning Amber,
You are welcome and yes I was able to sign up my wife and son last evening around 9:pm central time. I put a "bug" in a friends ear to start getting his freinds and family to sign up also. Again thanks for all you do, g0j0g0, aka alan
Re: Petition for RSD Awareness DayHello aladley
Where did you go... I signed on to the chat just in time to see your name and it looked like you said "hello"? I replied and the next message I received was "aladley has left the chat". It looks like there is approx. a three minute delay. Is this so? Please advise for further information. Thanks G0J0G0
Re: Petition for RSD Awareness DayHello everyone,
I wrote the following email and sent it to everybody that I thought would sign this petition and have pasted it here if anyone would like to do the same. It is easily modified to fit your needs. I tried to write it in a generic format so feel free to use the shell for your friends and family, Thanks G0J0G0 Good day everyone, As most of you know in September, 2006 I had an operation on my ankle to repair a torn ligament, and as a result contracted a nerve disease called Regional Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD). According to WebMD, RSD affects close to 1.5 million people in the U.S. while Multiple Sclerosis affects approximately 450,000, and the name recognition pales in comparison. This disease is a chronic pain disorder that changes the sympathetic nerves to send chronic pain signals to the brain causing constant unbearable pain. All of this to say the Neurology Channel has a web-site that offers persons suffering with all types of diseases to communicate with people with like troubles. They have started a petition to raise awareness of this disease (RSD) and with the hopes of creating a National RSD Awareness Day to bring this disease out of obscurity. With these thoughts in mind I am asking everyone to sign the petition and considering asking your friends and relatives to sign likewise. The only info they ask for is your name and email address and you can opt to have more information sent to you. The link is posted below and if the link isn't active copy and paste the link to your address bar and hit "go" for access. Thank you in advance for considering this Alan *********. http://www.neurologychannel.com/RSDawareness/index.shtml
Re: Petition for RSD Awareness DayGood afternoon Aladley
I have been in touch with one of the better known web-site administrators and I have asked them if they could place a link on their web-site for the petition, would this be a possibility, please advise, g0j0g0?
