i do have a lawyer and yes i have a paper trail that is so high that i could use it as a chair. i have no medical coverage so going to the dr's is out of the question, the lawyer told me to hold off on appling for ssd i dont know why. i guess he has his reason's.. the workmanscomp lady had the nerve to laugh as she's reading the report to me, like she just won her first case and she was throwing herself a party. i dont know what else to do anymore, who's going to hire me like this? i dont know what day to day is going to be like, how would a boss like it if i call in cause i cant get out of bed or move my arm? when i first got hurt i begged and begged for them to cut my arm off, and to put me in a coma so i could get sleep. you know that gas they give you right before you go in for an operation well they gave that to me in a pill form and i still couldnt get any sleep, everytime i move i shot right up with pain, i dont know, well i better get going sorry for venting, take care and god bless you all.

Hello lostandcomfused,

Did you ask the lawyer why you should not apply for SSD at this time? If not, I suggest that you ask him. If this is the advice that he has for you, maybe you should ask him what your other options are at this time. I'm sure that your lawyer is aware, that like him, you have to survive as well.

Are you satisfied with his services at this point? If not, there are many other disability lawyers out there, so don't waste too much time with that lawyer if you're unhappy with the services being rendered.

Keep in touch.

Hello I'm truely sorry for what you have been going threw. I'm kinda in the same boat. I have CRPS type 2. At first work and workers comp were all about helping me, they had there field case worker go to the appointments with me and was there when I was told. At the workers comp hearing they allowed it, work appealed. For me it was the employers dr they sent me to. I went to an office with no one else there, no nurse did not do vitles and realy did no tests. I was there about 15, 20 mins. He also said I was fine and could go back to work. I appealed and lost, now it's going to a jury trial. My lawyer said everything will workout then. I have been going to the Cleveland Clenic and seeing one of the top Pain Managment Drs in the world. I'm going to have to stop writing this is killing me. But if you find the right people they will help you.

all the best

I dont think it will get that far do to all the evidence and Drs. on my side. The employer and there drs and there laywers are trying to run bad faith practices but its going to back fire on them. In the meantime I ran out of money no insurance nolonger receving TT, but its ok I will get everything I need very soon. I moved in with my parents and there helping me with money and everything got lucky there.Dr. Micheal Stanton-Hicks is my dr at the Cleveland Clenic.

dear lostandconfused,
i'm so sorry your going thru this also...i just experienced this with a w/c dr. also..after my pain mngt. dr. diagnosed me with rsd with a true evaluation of me. now the w/c dr. walked in looked at me and said i dont think u have rsd..before he even evaluated me at all..then he put my arm and wrist thru hell. i left in tears and no answers! he said it was because my hand wasnt swollen at the time of my appointment with him. these type of dr's are not here to help us at all..its all about money for them and to keep getting paid for a sevice they do to keep w/c from being held responsible for us...THE VICTIM!!! and our needs!!! god bless u all!

I think most of us had the same run in with there Dr. The term is called Bad Faith (intentional deception dishonesty or failure to meet an obligation or duty). And the sad part is they can get away with it.

i hear you on the dr thing, mine walked in and moved my arm around and some other stuff, he stopped for a minute and asked me how i was i told him i was going to be ill and where was the trash can, and i looked down and my hard was purple and i showed him , he left the room and told me to go home. he stopped all the other testing that he was going to do.. the one thing i learned make sure you have someone in that room with you at all times. cause i dont about you but when am in pain i cant focus on whats going on around me.. i know your talking but its like the charlie brown teacher..when i read his notes he said he did all this testing and didnt.. i know why he stopped because it he went further he would have to say i had it and the insurance company wouldnt use him again..oh well , like my mother says what goes around comes around... yesterday i went to the barn and everyone was riding and having fun, all i could do is cry.( and i got caught) am not one for letting people see that.. 3 of the ladies gave me hugs.. ( which was nice but still felt dumb) my kids are at their dads and missing them badly.. i wish i was the old me again. the weather here has been so goofy really messing with me.. have any of you had some kind of seizers?? this week has been rough, the other night my dog came running over and put his chest on mine and started whinning, thought he had to go out and the nexts thing i knew my legs where shaking and than my arms. it was like it started at my legs and moved up, really scarey.. well talked enough my hand hurts and cant type with one hand to well.. take care and good bless you all..
