Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD)

Has anyone gone to see a dermatologist for any of the skin changes that they've experienced as a result of their RSD? If so, how did that turn out? I'm having a 1st appt. in a week and my skin on my right knee is in bad shape from a week-long burn binge my knee went on. Just wondering if seeing a dermatologist is even worth the time? I appreciate any feedback! Thanks!

I haven't seen a dermatologist but one of the neurologist that DX me told me this is a scar of the disease and it might fade but is probably with me long term. It looks like my left foot has been burned and all of the skin on top of the foot is shiny and has doscolored from the norm.
I read with much interest on your post requesting info and would like to say you ae on the right track. Don't sign anything from the other lawyer untill you and your lawyer are confident all is taken care of concerning your FUTURE care, for this is a long term condition and even if it goes into remission there is always the chance of recurrance.
