I solved my PLMD problem

Post a new topicby ElBando on Sat Apr 12, 2008 10:21 am

I finally did it. I discovered a way to stop my legs from kicking all night. Now this may not apply to everyone, but it works 100% for me, I can't believe how simple it is. For a couple of years now ( I'm 59 years old ), my legs kicked violently and constantly at night while sleeping. My poor wife was suffering as well as I was. I read on this forum how some people found relief from cold water rinses, electric blankets, exercise, etc. I tried all that to no avail. I tried sleeping with socks on, without socks, couldn't figure it out. I tried different vitamin supplements, quit coffee for a while, still had the PLMD. I started sleeping with sweat pants, then thermal underwear( bottoms only ) and like magic ALL my leg movements stopped. Now if you already sleep with pajama bottoms on this probably won't apply to you as you have already been that route. But if you sleep with nothing on your legs like I had....try it, you can't lose. Also, let me know if it worked for you.
