Post a new topicby goingcrazy7403 on Wed Jul 16, 2008 3:53 am

I suffer with genital herpes symptoms, I tend to get RLS prior to an outbreak. Does anyone else suffer with this.

i used to get yearly attacks of herpes simplex 2, leaving scaring on my neck area, now come to think of it, since it has been many years since an outbreak, the parasomnia has been worse, requiring larger doses of clonazepam, up to 4mg a night, just to rest still enough to fall asleep, my rls prevents me getting to sleep, but the rls also affects my right arm and shoulder, resulting in violent jerking, driving me nuts as i try to relax enough to sleep.

i get by on 2-4 hours a night, and if that is un-interupted, I am greatful
