any experts out there that can help?

I’m a 29 year-old man who is enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. The strangest thing happened to me when during my deployment to Afghanistan. I had never had a seizure before in my life until November 8, 2008. I was standing behind my computer, and I began to have a weird feeling (a feeling that something wasn’t normal) and the room began to fade. That is the last thing I remember.
After that, according to the people around me, I sat down, leaned forward against the computer, then fell ...Read the full article

Hi there,

I'm no an expert at all. However, my boyfriend who is enlisted in the US Navy has a seizures history. It would pop out of no where from time to time. It would happen at night when he'll be sleeping. I'm lucky I'm an EMT and have medical expereince to help him out as much as I can. The US doctor has tested him and said everything seemed fine and no reason for him to be having seizures. He decided to go see another Neurologist up north to test him further tests. They said it might be from his job stress, not eating well, enegry drinks instead of water and smoking. Due to the offical unknown seizures, my boyfriend has to be medical discharge after he has been put on medication. The medication was very difficult for him to get used to it at first because it would change his moods, sex drives, and so on. The great part is, his seizures has gone away. So if it happens again, you should see a Neurologist. It just might be one time stress body release seizure thing and it goes away. However, I'd be very catuious of whatever you do. Hope you get some helpful answers from me.

I was completely confused when the same thing happened to me....mine started in 2004. Just out of the blue....scared the crap out of my husband. Just got this weird feeling...sort of a pain and the next thing i know, I'm being told I had a seizure. Its crazy. I hadn't had one in almost 2 years until 3 nights ago. Mine start the same as you described...a weird feeling (sort of like being dizzy but not really the same). So far no "cause" for mine....just "epilepsy"...maybe from stress. The catch all....Good luck w/ everything!!!!
