My name is Jhenelle and I have been having seizure since I was 11. I can’t control them or even tell when they are coming, which sucks.
I hit my head alot from collapsing and hurt myself badly in other ways because of it. Because of my seizures I suffer physically but worst of all I suffer emotionally. I hate making my friends and family worry, even though I can’t help what’s going on.

I am 37 years old. I've had seizures since I was 2 1/2. To this day the doctors still have NO IDEA what causes these seizures. I've had about 13 in my lifetime. As I get older they seem to progressively get worse and more frequent. About 9 months ago I crashed into a home having a seizure while driving. This past weekend I had one in my home. I have been to several neurologists and cardiologists and all my tests are coming back fine. No doctor can figure out what is going on. They keep mentioning vasovagal syncope. But my seizures have been witnessed by doctors that say I'm having a full blown grand-mal seizure which does not happen with someone that has vasovagal syncope. I have grand-mals every single time! I'm so frustrated as I have no idea what is going on. I'm so scared to drive or be in public at this point. To think I've had 13 in my lifetime and 4 within the past 2 years is very frightening. If anyone has any ideas of things to research or a direction to steer the doctors please let me know. I'm desperate at this point.
