I think I had a seizure

Post a new topicby blueeyes on Mon Dec 01, 2008 11:40 pm

I have migraines & also sleep paralysis(I've only been clinically diagnosed), but this just seemed different. I've also been diagnosed with a pineal cyst which is just over 1cm & is causing slight distortion of my upper tectum(sp?), but without any hydrocephalus as of my last MRI 1 1//2 yrs ago. I would appreciate any feedback on whether this would be typical of a seizure
This morning as I was lying in bed waking up, I first felt like a comforting presence of someone behind me (knowing nobody was physically there) then I heard a mans voice say a word, then I felt my head shaking horribly (all I can compare it too is the thought of what shaken baby syndrome would feel like). When the shaking was done I felt like a warm sinking feeling under my head into my pillow, & at one point panicked that I might be bleeding out my ear because of this warm spreading feeling. I also did feel kind of paralyzed, like when I have sleep paralysis. However, unlike with my sleep paralysis, I felt out of it but was able to call to my husband who was in the other room. Nobody was with me to witness this, but I am very concerned.
Thank you for taking the time to read this!
