Intense pain followed by passing out

Post a new topicby Guest on Thu Feb 26, 2004 10:10 pm

Whenever I have intense pain I sometimes tend to pass out. One time I held my pee for a really long time because I didn't have a bathroom to go to and when I did try to go it hurt really bad and I passed out on the toilet (yeah its kind of funny but scary). Another time I had a urinary tract infection and after I used the bathroom I passed out. I have passed out a couple more times, but in different ways, not having to do with using the bathroom. Is this normal? When I do pass out spots start forming in front of my eyes- like a tv screen- and I try to breathe normal, but can't. My eyes kind of roll in the back of my head and I make strange noises but my eyes are still pretty much open and when I wake up I am shaking. This all takes about 10 seconds. Is this passing out? I'm scared it might be a seizure but then again I don't want to freak out over nothing because I feel fine the rest of the time. Someone told me I should see a neurologist.
