Seizures

My son recently had 3 seizures within an hour and a half, he is 10 years old, he was in the hospital took all the necessary tests and they found nothing, everything was negative, they have put him on trileptal but aince they have not given me an answer to the problem I am not happy with him taking this medication,he acts strange, looks weird, also I took him to the eye doctor and the muscles in both of his eyes are bad, in which a year ago only one had some weakness in one and it was no problem, and he said that it is neurological and not good. Can someone here help me out? thanks
