Seizure medication & Pregnancy

Hello all
I have a situation.
My husband started Seizure medication in 2007 & after few months of taking medicine he stored his sperm in a sperm bank & this year I am planning to have our baby. I am worried because I dont want any defects in my baby. Has any one has gone thru this situation??
