Seizure type episode

Post a new topicby Myiasdo on Wed Jun 10, 2009 8:20 pm

I have had several episodes while driving when suddenly I have no idea where I am or where I'm
going. I get fear type feeling when this happens. I pull over and it passes within a minute.
I have MS and so I mentioned this to the neurologist and he told the name of this, it is considered
to be in the seizure family and only occurs while driving. Go figure. I looked it up back then,
and found it and it was word for word that happened. Recently, my aunt told me of the same
thing that happened to her and I cannot recall the name the doctor told me and am having
a frustrating time trying to find the name. Can anyone recall the name for me. I would
very much appreciate it.
Thank you all so much,

I have been going through the same thing! I have been tested for seizures, and it has been negative. It has been witnessed that i had a seizure, so the doc is not dismissing it. The other thing that was found through testing the eighth time in the hospital was my heart. my blood preasure is bottoming out when i stand up which is causing me to faint or go unconcious. So please have your preasure checked in addition to testing for seisures!!!!

God Bless and good luck!!!
