Seizures

Hi, my boyfriend has seizures every 2 to 3 months, he's on meds for them but it still seems to be a regular thing and they are always in the middle of the night when he is sleeping (what a wake up call for me). It really takes a lot out of both of us, and he has the grand mal seizures What I am wondering is if anyone can recommend a good over the counter medicine to help the pain in his tongue from biting it afterwards. He always bites his tongue and slices it open on the sides pretty good, we currently have "kanka" which is like the numbing stuff for canker sores, but he says it almost feels too strong like it hurts when he puts it on the open cuts on the side of his tongue. Can anyone recommend something?

I have the same problem babe...there isn't much you can do...u can get lidacaine mouthwash...it's prescription your dentist or dr can prescribe it....it helps heal it faster to....the nice thing about the tounge is it heals so fast...good luck babe!
