I'm working with a child who is having seizures Noone can seem to figure out what the cause is. He started off as an athletic kid. He had Immunization shots when he moves out of his country to here and soon after started having his first episodes. Within the last 8 months he has lost motor skills in both his hand and leg on one side. His knowledge and understanding of English (his second language but used to speak it very well and understand it) is digressing. He is now starting to digress in his native language. Does anyone have any ideas of what might be going on? Everyone who has met or lives with him is perplexed. Please help. I have watched him degress from being able to do his multiplication facts fairly well to confusing them and not remembering them within the past 2 months.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
