visual triggers of seizures

Post a new topicby Guest on Tue Jun 29, 2004 12:18 am

I have a 5 year son who has had seizures since he was 3 mos old. He has been on theketogenic diet since Oct.of 2003 and has done extremely well. The only time he seems to have a seizure is when he stares at things that have a certain pattern( such as window screens, ceiling tiles with tiny holes, some mesh patterns, large tv screens. It seems to catch his attention and he just stares until he has a seizure Usually we are able to redirect him before he has one. Has anyone else ever experienced this?
