I have a 9yr old child who sleep runs about 8 to 20 times a night. This has been going on now for 9 mos. Each episode only last a few seconds to maybe 2 minutes. She has had a sleep study done which showed she has these episodes right before she goes into the deep sleep stage. Therefore she is not getting her deep sleep.
