Is This a Sleep Disorder?

Post a new topicby jtgatorfan on Tue Feb 17, 2009 6:01 pm

Don't know if this is Sleep Apnea or not, doesn't sound like it, but thought I'd check. I have absolutely NO problems falling asleep. I go out quick and get about 7-8 hours of sleep every night. The problem is, it seems like every other day I wake up with a weird feeling in my head that persists throughout the day. Almost feels like my brain and the muscles in my skull are "swollen". I don't feel like myself at all and makes concentrating very difficult. Because this happens every other day, I often think about it happening the next day and I really believe that it is all psychosomatic. It used to be that I would NEVER have these feelings on weekends, now it happens a lot. I'd like to get help, but I'm not even sure there is a disorder here.
