no feeling for BM in sacral area

Post a new topicby Denese on Wed Sep 19, 2007 6:49 pm

I have no feeling in the lower spinal area when I need to have a bowel motion, some time ago [13 years] to be exact, I developed flu like symtons, with tingling painful skin to touch, running to the loo all the time to pee, difficulty with BM. I have been tested for MS did have a lumber puncture, negative. Have had cysts on my spine aspirated, which has helped a little with pressure.
My bladder is telling me when I need a BM, smallest amount of faecal matter sitting in the rectum makes me want to run to the loo, just have to go, difficulty passing BM as do not have the urge, use micolax to help. Up all night peeing, sometimes up to 10 times.
Please can anyone HELP???????

Not sure why you have the problem, but Interstim might help, it is made by Medtronic, good luck
