Spinal Cord Injury

I am trying to find someone who has had a stroke in their cord. I was diagnosed in March and there is no one who has ever heard of this except the Dr who diagnosed it. I want to share sylmptoms and hopefully what, if anything, helps. I have severe contractions of the buttocks, legs and feet that guess worse the longer I am up. I am on Morphine and 3 other drugs for pain and nerve pain which doesn't get rid of a whole lot. I live in Albuq., NM and there are apparently no Dr''s here who can explain it or know how to treat it.
