Looking for help - Stroke, thalamus, neuropathy

I have not been able in all my researching to find someone that has had the same type of stroke I have had. It was in the thalamus part of the brain. It has caused what I call extreme neuropathy on my left side. My left hand feels like I am wearing a “tingly” glove and I have fuzz between my fingers. Hi I think I maybe suffering from similar after effects as you.I had a TIA some two years ago and although the doctors have prescribed several different drugs to help the discomfort there seems little has been achieved.The thalamus was the area affected so I guess we are in the same boat !!I also have trouble finding a kindred spirit.so it would be good to chat.
