Re: Neuropathy after CPM strokethank you so much for your advice to us. I'm just experiencing this situation. My husband had a massive stroke on march 13th and he's still in the hospital (St Vincent hospital) portland oregon. 3 doctors in ICU advised me /or tried to push me to remove the tube. Of course, I did not. he is still sick and no one pays attention to him. i'm fighting everyday for a ct scan, they seem very reluctant.
lately, they want to discharge him and send him to a nursing home to 'die'. he just started talking 2 weeks ago. I'm still hopeful . thanks positive
Re: Neuropathy after CPM strokeI would search for information on ways to increase the production of prostacyclin which is produced by the body and is reported to deaglomerate aglomerants (disolve clots). The body may not produce it if the level of LDL cholesterol is too high and LDL peroxide is produced which turns off PC production. PC only is present for a short time (seconds) after it is produced, so you can't store it or buy it. Exercise is a possible choice to increase HDL cholesterol from which PC is produced.
