Hi Sarah! My name is Jeffree and my husband's name is Shelly. We live in arizona. we just finished reading your story and it touched us both. Like your mom, my husband is very young age 56 when he had his stroke in January of 2007. We know exactly what you are going through and how you feel. We also know that you are on the right track as you are keeping a positive attitiude. We live by that. We have three children and eight grandchildren and this has been very hard for them too. He too was very active..owned his own business exercised and now he is learning to walk and talk again. I know it's hard sweetie but don't give up the hope. They can recover and little by little inch by inch sometimes, he is recovering and we are so grateful for that. Thank you so much for sharing your story. My husband wants to tell his story now too. Keep the faith!! jeffree email is [moderator note: e-mail address has been removed] in case you would like to write back(:
