Cat Scan can it tell if you had other strokes

Post a new topicby Catlou on Sat May 10, 2008 8:50 pm

Hi i'm new here, I was wondering if Cat Scans can tell if a person has had other strokes in the past or some other related illness. I recently became very week, clamy, nausaous, it didn't last long, but I knew something wasn't right. This has happened to me in the past...of and on.

Two years ago my legs went weak...and my vision blurry,my left arm felt like it weighed a ton. For a couple of months after, things sounded hollow when people were talking, i was easily confused. i still get that very often, the confusion when people talk, hard to follow at times. My memory is very poor. I'm 54 years old.

Can anyone tell me if they can determine past possible mini strokes when they do a Cat Scan on me next week....Thank you for any feed back
