Traumatic Brain Injury

November 14, 2001 I was involved in an accidential gunshot accident. I live in a very rural community and was rushed to our local hospital with injuries to my left breast and stomach.
The hospital was a level IV unit, with instructions to “stabilize and ship” to a trauma unit in a larger city. That did not happen.
