MY Experience With Traumatic Brain InjuryAs a young, ambitious, adventure seeking college student at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, I made plans with fellow classmates to attend a concert in North Carolina on a weekend, so as to not interfere with my studies. I recall attending a fraternity party the night before and going to bed, not too late, so I would be prepared for the long drive the next morning.

Re: MY Experience With Traumatic Brain InjuryHey there
This story is amazing I'm so happy you recovered and able to return to the things you have always wanted to do. I wrote a story in Februray and I must say how similiar are stories are, especially the drive that you had to get better. I like to think I'm the same way in my recovery just because I'm so young and do not like things to get in my way. I have lots of questions for you. If you Read this I would I like to contact you some how through email. Thanks
Re: MY Experience With Traumatic Brain InjuryHaving a very nasty TBI my self in Orlando in 1982, I have managed to accomplish a good thing or two in the last 27 years, BUT!
I know I ,,, Aww I would like to see your medical records with this TBI and see the JD / MBA. I Just can't see someone doing everything you have done with education, starting from the hospital bed with nothing but a good attitude. I feel like I'm having Sunshine blown straight up my bumm. I think if in fact you really did manage to get your JD (My wife is an attorney) that you had more than good attitude to help you along the way. Did you make it to your 3rd floor dorm? or do you walk with a cane? it make a big difference in the amount of help you can and will get from doctors, insurance, schools, and work. I'm glad you are doing well but please give us the whole story and not the "it's just attitude" nonsense. Therapies, hospitals, doctors names, anything that will help us move through the pain and out of steepness most of us live through every day.
