Questin about TBI and weather changes? Headache any one?HI all,
I'm not interested in hearing from (family members) of TBI survivors! Please only respond as a or for a TBI survivor! I have been living in a hellish world of headaches and neurologists who are more interested in making a buck than understanding my brain pain for over 20 years. So I have started to explore forums like this to try to understand what is going on with my own head. I just went through a savear headache and every time I get the crippling headaches it's 99% of the time with a big weather change the barometric pressure moves drastically up or down fast and I'm in a dark room puking my brains (well the content of my stomach) out writhing around ready to die just to get away from the pain. I had my skull explode into my brain from a car accident in 1982. I guess the procedure was cut the scalp open extract the skull bits put the puzzle back together then insert the pice of skull back into the hole it came from. I had little to no follow up on this repair and now that I'm in my 40s I'm starting to feel, or notice the effects more and more. I have had huge headaches ever since the accident but not a single doctor I have seen has done anything for me, one or two have prescribed dilantan to try to control pietetmal seziors. Dose anybody else notice headaches when weather changes? Starts to rain? if it's been raining for a day or 2 when it stops to rain? spring to summer? fall to winter? anytime aptnosiphiric pressure changes?
