neuraligia and combined neurological disordersSome time back, I was given the diagnosis of Spastic Paraplegia, after being informed that I also suffer with Fibromyaligia. I am now suffering with intense neuralgic pains. I have had them before, when I was younger, after eating ice cream.
As I got older the frequency seemed to ease off a bit, until recently. I am now experiencing it on a daily basis, and combined with the muscle spasms that I have and the other neuro problems it doesn't help. I see the doctor tomorrow, as they did place me on a strong painkiller the last time that I had an episode. This time, as I said, the episodes are more frequent. I know it's not dental caries, as I brush my teeth. I use a warm compress with my amitrypilline to settle the pain. It helps to a point, but it isn't doing it for long. The pain is so severe that it wakes me up in the middle of the night, and then I end up sleeping during the day. I was wondering if anybody else with other neurological conditions found their neuralgia to be more intense?
