Post a new topicby skybluepink on Wed Feb 11, 2009 4:14 am

I have diagnosed CFS fibromyalgia and my pain is acute and my trigger points are the muscular organs including skin, gums , uterus consequently have trouble being examined and treated as to accomplish often need sedation. Also bruise easily and have aversion to injections. Then need someone to accompany as single a problem. Ideal would be the holistic approach as too much anaesthetic could have caused the cardiac arrest . Does anyone know how I can get sedation for eye sight correction[ astigmatism ] and electrolosis [for hirsutism ] .Lasers don't do grey hair and blink if anything comes near my eye !It appears to NHS think it is cosmetic and the cosmetics don't do sedation .Same problem with dentist which has cost a lot of money and PCNs as had to go to Wimpole St . It appears only if you have common conditions does NHS give access to treatment . I also have spina bifida occulta & suffered chronic utis affecting the neurological .Now no objective research re immunity to medication.Sat in A&E depts for 5hrs every 3 weeks 5 yrs ago with Depts recording only appeared once when had taken appts away in main hospital and access to antibiotics due to rigid policies based on statistics .
