VNS is really cutting way back on szs

Post a new topicby Rachel on Sun Feb 22, 2009 10:33 pm

Hi all,

My VNS has REALLY cut WAY back on my szs. The last sz log that I turned into my neurologist was on the 5th of Jan,and it dated back to sept 29th the previous appt prior to the Jan one. I went 100 days wiht only 9 szs that time.

Now he is giving me a "6 month break" and I won't see him until July. It makes it harder for me to keep up with my log becuase of all teh writing and whe nI haveto print it all out alot of paper, etc.

The month of Jan looks fairly ugly, though. I was stressed becuase my dog had to haev surgery on something, and I worried aboutthat all day long, then I had my menses on another day, then in adn out of the month I was sick with illnesses that spikd fevers that triggered szs. All of those things did , so that month looked bad in that log. But I have until July to turn things around.

But I just thought i would let you know that I went the 100 days with only 9 szs.

To me that is an accomplishment.
