Re: constant vertigoHello,
I just want to tell you that you are not alone in this as I had this for 5 months as well. I first had my vertigo attack in Nov a week after I had my son. I couldn't care for him for a month which was depressing . My mother had to intervene with helping me take care of my baby and me. It got better in Jan but I got it again and not to severe as before but still severe where it knocks me off my balance. I took my meclizene the doctor prescribed and waited for this to pass. I can tell you as of now I haven't gained my full balance back. I am dizzy at the most in the heat so I try to avoid it as much as possible keep the AC and on full blast int he house and dread for the summer to arrive as this used to be my favorite season. I am usually homebound now. I had all tests done CATSCAN, Bloodwork, Audiologist and going in 2 weeks to see the ears, nose and throat specialist although I think they will tell me there is nothing wrong and I have to just live with this like everyone else that I have seen basically said . I have even stopped driving for months due to this. It is really depressing me and no one understands what I am going through especially my hubby. He just tells me to walk and get active. Well he just doesn't understands alot of about how I feel when I try to do things as well as the doctors, they think I am crazy. I can see it on their faces. Anyways please let me know how the lemon remedy works for you or if you happen to come cross anything else.- Michelle
Re: constant vertigoI was just recently diagnosed last week with Vertigo; it's driving me insane! I have one month left of this semester, and I am SO TIRED! The medicine was making me worse at first, it didn't seem like it was working. It worked perfectly for a day, then I felt like I was getting worse the next day. I'm still learning how to deal with this, but it's taking it's toll on me and my life. My friends and coworkers say that I am very different now, and they all worry about me. It makes me scared because I have almost passed out a couple of times already.
Re: constant vertigoHi all,
Just found this site and I see some of you say you've had vertigo for 5 months now. I was wondering if you have it 24/7 or if it comes and goes.I've had it 24/7 with the humming ( tinnitus )in my head since mid Novemeber, 2007. Went to bed one night with full hearing in both ears and woke up in the morning completely deaf in on ear and only 30% hearing in the other.I've been to a specialist that my ENT referred me to and he diagnosed it as Meniere's Disease - which come to find out it isn't. The dizziness and humming have gotten worse in the last few weeks and my hands have also started shaking. The only time I'm not dizzy is when I'm laying down and my head is stationary. Wondering if anyone is going thru the same thing and how you are dealing with it. I try to keep a positive attitude altho sometimes it's hard to because no-one really undestands what we're going thru.
