I have drug induced vertigo. I have had it for 3 yrs now and xanex seems to be the only drug that controls the spins or at least enough so that i can function. Some times i wake up and spin in the middle of the night. I just try to take it day by day. I have tried every drug on the market and herbs for this, but only xanex makes it so i can function and retain a drivers license and still work. Antivert never worked. I suffer from vetigo because I have Meniere's Disease. I can't believe the doctor is telling you this??? Because you are addicted to pills you gave yourself vertigo- B.S.
