Healthy 29-year-old with Vertigo?

Post a new topicby livingwith on Thu Jan 10, 2008 7:13 am

This started 8 days ago, I was sitting on the couch drinking a banana milk shake and got such a strong feeling that I was going to pass out that I had to set the shake down and sit absolutely still for a minute or so. It passed.
I have always had low blood pressure, so I thought that was it - triggered by the high potassium content of the 5 bananas in the shake. I felt better, and went to my meditation group. Off and on throughout that 2-hour meeting I would feel like I was going to pass o...Read the full article

dizziness,weakness,nausea,pores opening,tired,barely walk,sick feeling,want to lay down,seem like an

old sick drunkenness feeling...

force self to continue to walk. I used to lay down and try to breath the air from close to the ground or

floor-it was the cool air down there I wanted

flushed,extremely weak can't get up,

I called them "spells"

ever since I was a teenager I've had these "spells" with no apparent pattern to it.

They just happened when they happened.

Food poisoning amplified the spinning of room,my grand-nieces barbies in a 32 oz. soda cup, my

clothes on a chair,the floor.

I knew they were still but they still seemed to slowly spin without moving...

When the doctor said Vertigo, my "spells" got a name.

and my ears still ring loudly

my left ear is my deaf ear,I hear but certain tones don't register if at all

I don't know how long it has been deaf

sometimes a sudden loud noise will cause me to stagger like a drunk or hang onto something

because my sense of balance has been thrown off balance

it was last year when my "spells" received a name

Sorry for your condition but it's nice to know I'm not alone
