Learning to cope

I’m a 51 year old black female that is learning to cope with vertigo. More than the vertigo itself, I get frustrated trying to explain to people what is wrong with me. I don’t think that anyone that doesn’t have it have any real understanding of how awful vertigo is. Everyday I have to be careful of how I position my head, I can’t tilt my head back and any sudden head movement triggers it. I agree with you very much if you haven't experienced the affects of true vertigo you do not know what a person is going through. My wife has seen me more than once crawl to the bathroom because I couldn't walk. So I just wanted you to know you were not alone in your thoughts. By the way I have said many times that I don't think people believe me when I have a vertigo attack! So you aren't alone!
