Vertigo

I have had vertigo for about a year now. MRI showed nothing. My doctor said it was positional and nothing could be done. He also gave me a hearing test and there was some hearing loss. After reading about Meniere disease I have all the symptoms except my vertigo is not as extreme as comes with Meniere disease. My doctor is an ENT. It is all very frustrating.

I've had episodes of vertigo for about 20 years (BPV). I've been tested for Meniere's, MS, lots of bloodwork for different diseases/disorders. Until recently, I was told I have a hole in my ear drum (which could be the cause of MY vertigo). I also have some hearing loss. During one of my 6 month check-ins, my ENT recommended an over the counter med named LIPOFLAVONOID. In the beginning, I took 3 pills a day. Now one a day for kind of a maintenance. If I feel an episode coming on I take 2 or 3 pills. It's not a cure, but it sure has taken away some of the nausea, and I haven't had any MAJOR episodes of spinning in the last 6-8 months. You certainly can ASK YOUR DOCTOR if this med may possibly help you with dizziness episodes. Take care.
