Meniere disease?I have had vertigo for about a year now. MRI showed nothing. My doctor said it was positional and nothing could be done. He also gave me a hearing test and there was some hearing loss. After reading about Meniere disease I have all the symptoms except my vertigo is not as extreme as comes with Meniere disease. Re: Meniere disease?I've had episodes of vertigo for about 20 years (BPV). I've been tested for Meniere's, MS, lots of bloodwork for different diseases/disorders. Until recently, I was told I have a hole in my ear drum (which could be the cause of MY vertigo). I also have some hearing loss. During one of my 6 month check-ins, my ENT recommended an over the counter med named LIPOFLAVONOID. In the beginning, I took 3 pills a day. Now one a day for kind of a maintenance. If I feel an episode coming on I take 2 or 3 pills. It's not a cure, but it sure has taken away some of the nausea, and I haven't had any MAJOR episodes of spinning in the last 6-8 months. You certainly can ASK YOUR DOCTOR if this med may possibly help you with dizziness episodes. Take care.
