Hi ..
It was April 29th at 6pm and I was hanging something on the coat rack and I felt dizzy but I thought it was just a dizzy spell since I get dizzy from time to time cause I am so active I have two children and work a full time job and have a home to maintain. So this dizziness wouldn’t go away I started panicking real badly. I had the same problem since Sunday, April 27, 2008. At around 3 am, I woke up, when I open my eyes, I saw the ceiling spinning around. I felt dizzy. I held on to my husband, so I won't fall. When I turn my head to the right, it spins. So I turned my head to the left, and the spinning is less. When I got up to go the bath room, I felt unbalanced and was not able to walk there alone. When I was sitting on the bed, I felt like I was thrown on my back. Later I sat down on the couch, I felt better than laying down in bed. But if I move my head left or right, I felt the spinning again. I called my sister in law who said she had vertigo before, and she said she drunk 10 glasses of water every day, and the spinning stopped in 4 days. On the 4th day, she heard a ringing sound in her ears for about half an hour, and then the spinning and the dizziness stopped. My doctor told me to turn my head slowly from left to right and then right to left with my eyes open. This will help make the spinning go away sooner. He also prescribed valium for me at night to help me sleep. Maria Lory 5/1/2008

I talked to a friend to today, she said that she also experience vertigo before. She said that her doctor diagnosed that when she blew on her nose, she did it too hard, to that it damaged one of ears, now she is deaf on one ear. The lesson here is - do not blow your nose too hard, better yet do not blow your nose at all. If there is mucous inside, use a baby suction bulb to suck out the mucous.
