I have had several vertigo episodes, and it happens when I wake up in the morning. I had an episode so severe 2 years ago that when my doctor saw my condition, she called an ambulance and sent me to the hospital from her office!
I was vomitting so severely she gave me a shot and sent me to get tests.
I just had another episide three days ago which lasted for about 10 hours, the ususal for me. The vomiting is so horrendous that I need to take the promethazine immediately, which worked.
