vertigo and strokeI’m 52, white male. Had an isolated cryptogenic stroke last November. No lasting effects. Tingling right leg went away in a few days. I had low blood pressure, normal cholesterol, H-W proportinate. I exercise and watch my diet, but an echocardiogram showed I have a PFO, small hole in heart previously undetected. Re: vertigo and strokeI am a 42 year old white male who also had a stroke infarct or something like that a little over a year ago. While i can not say that the stroke and vertigo are related professionally, I can say that since i had my stroke I also have suffered with severe vertigo and panic attacks. I have had every test imaginable and no one has any answers for the cause of my vertigo. And like you no one believes that they are related but I do. Even with meds my vertigo is so severe that I am often unable to get out of bed, stand, walk, drive, etc. I sincerely hope that yours is not this bad.
