Vertigo for yearsI had my first symptoms of vertigo when I was 17. I awaken one morning to a spinning room. I could not stand and maintain my balance so I had to crawl into my sisters room for help. I was rushed to the emergency room where a diagnosis was not made.

Re: Vertigo for yearsThank you so much for informing me what was going on with me. I had this experience several years ago and dismissed it as needing to take my iron. I did it last week also and took an iron pill. I also thought it was from PMS because I am due to menstruate next week. I woke up from my nap and the room was spinning out of control and I had to pick up my kids from school, I though I was going to throw up all in my van, I managed to get them from school and come home to the computer and found this site. It is good to know that I am not alone; Now I feel a little better about my situation, but I still need to do something about it. I can't go through this...If anyone find a cure please let me know.
