Vertigo

I woke up one morning two weeks ago to go to the bathroom and the whole room begun to spin. I turned straight back around back to bed. I was hospitalised for a few days, they told me I had vertigo. Have been dizzy for 2 weeks now. They said vertigo would go away on its own. The doctor prescribed stemitil but its not helping!!
