does it last this long?

Post a new topicby sarad on Sat Jul 26, 2008 6:59 pm

Ive had vertigo before but it's only lasted for a few hours when i've been sleeping and when i've awoken, it's gone so i never had it checked out.
But ive had vertigo for over 4 days now, it was so bad the first 2-3 days that i couldnt get out of bed.
The world was spinning so bad that all i could do was lie on my back with my head perfectly still.
I've started feeling better, but still not able to drive or leave house, but i can shower and make myself a quick dinner. But i would rather be still in bed. This is miserable!!!!
I am going to go to the doctor monday, but i thought maybe these symptoms would pass and had no idea vertigo could last this long without a break!
Do you think it's slowly going away or is my head just adjusting to the vertigo??
