My history is like yours. They sound identical. Shortly after my hysterectomy I got
peripherial neuropathy in both legs. I have been on meds, chiroprator, acupucture, message, and microvast machine. This has been going on for more than two years and has changed my life. My neurologist does not think they can be related but the fact that there is somone else out there with the same history makes one think. Any new info out there.

I feel your pain. I had my Laparoscopic and vaginal hysterectomy where they took everything including lymphnodes because of the cancer. I had the surgery on Nov. 3 2008 and it is now the end of January 09. I have leg numbness in both legs but the left it worse. The oncologist told me my right side should have the numbness and not my left. The numb areas in my legs turn purple in the shower or when heat hits the area and I have vaginal numbness on the outside. This has also caused me to have pain in my legs and hips and back now. I have fallen because it. I am seeing my doctor regularly about the proplem to where he has put me on several different meds but they don't really help. I would really like to know why my legs turn purple. I am only 36 and this has changed my life in several ways. My boyfriend don't understand the pain that I'm having and don't know why I avoid sex right now. I am seeing the doctor again in a couple of day to find out why my legs turn purple.
