a name would be nice to put with the pain.My name is ralph pelkey i live in mulvane kansas i have had fibro for 13 years. Iwas always a hard working man.until this.My mom lives 30 feet away from me.I brought home some paper work from my doctor. some time when you go to the doctor have your folks take you and have them ask the doc to explain whats going on and how this afects you and your life.We live in a place and time where if people cant see it they dont belive it.i know hard to make people belive you but they are your mom and dad and they love you they should belive YOU.I used to have a good job made good money i havent been able to work.My wife works very very hard to pay the bills and now she been cut back to three days a week. and times are really tough.i had to get on welfair to get my medical insurance.I have never been so embarssed in my life this disease is a disease that takes away and just keeps taking.people just dont under stand the pain and stifness the brain fog, droping things forgeting things i to have turned down for ssi 5 times but my niece got right on it for just being FAT AND LAZY and never worked a day in her life.WHERE IS THE JUSTICE.Well sounds like you got a good husband and children but faith in GOD is what will keep everthing together and keep you strong This is a horriable horriable disease and it dosent let us forget it either. This is not about your mom and dad this is about YOU and you staying strong{read my story JUST SHOOT MEEEE} and reply to peoples storys it helps. my family will keep you in our prayers GOD BLESS

Do what i did. I looked it all up and printed out the symptons, and everything off my computer, handed it to my mother and said now read this and tell me its all in my head! and she now understands and is helpful. try it it just might work, if not haul them with you to your doctors appt and ask your doctor to explain to them that it isnt all in your head. GL parents at times just dont want to believe that we are ill.

Good luck and god bless
