Neuropathy

I have been reading about this as well as reading what the others here are saying and I have some questions. I have hand (arm) and foot (leg) neuropathy stemming from chemotherapy. I am currently getting more chemo that causes more neuropathy. My doctor has indicated if the neuropathy gets too bad he will have to stop chemo My question is this, I see that many of you complain of pain, but I do not have pain so does that mean I am not as far along in the progression as those that have pain? My hands and feet are very tingly almost numb, but I have never had what I would call pain. Will I eventually have pain and that will be my indicator to stop chemo? Since I have no pain my complaints to my doctor are numbness and tingling only so I am not sure if he sees that as me not being progressed very far. Bugs me I can tell you that, the neuropathy that is.
